'We're Not Making Nothing You've Seen on TikTok': Waffle House Employees Refuse to Serve Secret Menu Item

Waffle House is having its 15 minutes early this year, as the chain finds itself at the center of another viral moment. This time, WH employees aren't catching chairs but refusing to take orders for a 'secret menu' item after it went viral on TikTok.

The sandwich - it doesn't have a cool name yet - is bacon, sausage, egg, and cheese, between two waffles.

The Twitter account Everything Georgia posted a picture of a handwritten sign in one Waffle House demanding customers, "Order from the menu!" and warning, "We're not making nothing you've seen on TikTok." And according to one Waffle House employee, the sandwich will "cost ya'll about $20'."

Last week we saw the impact TikTok can have on restaurants when Keith Lee's review of the struggling Las Vegas pizzeria, Frankensons, went viral helping save the business. This week, the internet's attention isn't hyper-focused on a single pizza shop run by one guy experiencing his best day of business, but on Waffle House, whose employees don't want to, and apparently don't have to, accommodate people's orders.
